Terms of Service (ToS)

Purpose

These Terms of Service define the conditions for accessing and using TrésorXpédition, an interactive treasure hunt creation and participation platform.

Definitions

"Service": the TrésorXpédition platform accessible via the website and its features
"User": any person accessing the Service
"Account": personal space created by the User to access Service features
"Creator": User who creates treasure hunts
"Participant": User who participates in treasure hunts
"Content": any element (text, image, file) published on the Service

Acceptance of ToS

Use of the Service implies full acceptance of these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the Service.

TrésorXpédition reserves the right to modify the ToS at any time. Users will be informed of changes by email or notification. Continued use of the Service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new ToS.

Access to Service

4.1 Registration

Access to certain features requires creating an Account. The User agrees to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Be at least 13 years old (or have parental consent)
Provide a valid email address
Create a secure password
Verify your email address

4.2 Account Security

The User is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials. Any use of the Account is deemed to be made by the User. In case of suspected fraudulent use, the User must immediately inform TrésorXpédition.

Service Description

TrésorXpédition offers the following services:

Creation of personalized treasure hunts
Participation in treasure hunts
Ranking and score management
Participation statistics

User Obligations

The User agrees to:

Use the Service in accordance with applicable laws
Not infringe on the rights of third parties
Not distribute illegal, defamatory, obscene or hateful content
Not attempt to compromise Service security
Not use the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes
Respect other Users

User Content

7.1 Responsibility

The User is solely responsible for the Content they publish. TrésorXpédition does not exercise prior control over Content.

7.2 License

By publishing Content, the User grants TrésorXpédition a non-exclusive, worldwide, free license to display, reproduce and distribute this Content within the Service.

7.3 Moderation

TrésorXpédition reserves the right to remove any Content that violates these ToS or applicable laws, without notice or compensation.

Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, code and proprietary content are the exclusive property of TrésorXpédition and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Any unauthorized reproduction, modification or use is prohibited.

Liability

9.1 Limitation

TrésorXpédition strives to ensure the availability and proper functioning of the Service. However, the Service is provided "as is" without guarantee of permanent availability.

9.2 Exclusions

TrésorXpédition cannot be held liable for:

Temporary Service interruptions
Damages resulting from use of the Service
Content published by Users
Links to third-party sites

Termination

10.1 By User

The User may delete their Account at any time from their profile. Deletion will be effective within 30 days.

10.2 By TrésorXpédition

TrésorXpédition may suspend or delete an Account in case of ToS violation, without notice or compensation.

Applicable Law and Disputes

These ToS are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, French courts will have jurisdiction.
